#TransPeopleAreLoved – Global Pride Campaign

This is a call to action to all trans allies around the world.

We invite you join the #TransPeopleAreLoved campaign. We are asking anyone that supports the trans community to help us
“Make Love the Loudest Voice”

Why is this important?

The platforming of anti-trans media is directly fuelling transphobic discrimination.

There was a 56% increase in anti-trans hate crime recorded last year in England & Wales. (Gov.UK, 2022)

88% of young trans people in the UK have had suicidal thoughts. (Just Like Us, 2023

Anti-trans bills are sweeping across the USA in all but five states.

Attempts are being made to exclude transgender people from sex/gender-based discrimination protections in England and Wales.

The UK government is seeking to introduce guidelines forcing England’s schools to out trans children to their parents or caregivers, banning them access to gendered spaces, legalising misgendering.

Our trans and non-binary youth are living in a world where they are exposed to so much anti-trans hate. The platforming of anti-trans media is directly fuelling transphobic discrimination.

What is the purpose of the campaign?

To encourage people to make their advocacy visible by using the hashtag online or wherever possible. We are stronger together and we aim to amplify a collective and unified message of love and support for transgender people worldwide.

Our Guidelines

We will promote positive messages of love, support, and advocacy for all transgender people across social media by using the platforms and resources below, tag and mention trans people you know.

Use the hashtag #TransPeopleAreLoved and send virtual messages of love to the transgender community.

We ask everyone to prioritise personal safety and not to engage with any negative interference to the campaign.

If you experience negative comments on your social media posts, do not engage, simply block, report, and delete.

Who are we supporting?

When we say #TransPeopleAreLoved this includes non-binary people, intersex and our global majority/BIPOC siblings.
